Life in Tokyo #78: Tokyo Thanksgiving
Spent an evening with friends enjoying American Thanksgiving Holiday celebrations. I realize few of you are that interested in how to acquire turkey in Tokyo, but for those who are try this shop… www.hanamasa.co.jp Though it is not a global holiday, I thought I’d share this day with you. Community is afterall not limited by borders. As we approach the holiday season let me wish well to all no matter what festivity you partake in. I really do recommend the pink cow. We didn’t explain it entirely well, but look at the Events Cowlander on their website and you’ll get what I mean. Almost every other night is some type of event or artist gathering. I’ve been a patron of the cow for 8 years, and it’s great to see gaijin owned businesses and local arts communities grow. thepinkcow.com Thanks, and Happy Festivus!
